Tiegerman High School's Classes
Classroom Ratio: 12:1:3
Tiegerman High School’s 12:1:3 classrooms provide a structured, specialized environment for learners with unique developmental needs. This ratio ensures that each student receives a tailored educational experience with the support they need. The 12 students can be a mix of individuals with varying disabilities, and the class is designed to address their specific academic and social needs. The teacher provides individualized instruction, and the additional support staff assist with specialized tasks like communication or academic support, depending on each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP).These classes benefit our students by providing more individualized attention, specialized instruction, enhanced support for emotional and social development, increased safety and supervision, promote collaboration and teamwork, and improved academic progress.
