Tiegerman’s Evening of Honor celebrated the agency’s commitment to helping individuals with language, learning, and developmental differences find their voices, build confidence, and create meaningful futures. The evening brought together families, educators, advocates, and community partners to honor impact, share stories of growth and resilience, and reaffirm a mission that has transformed lives for more than four decades.
The event honored an extraordinary group of 2026 recipients:
Joseph Farber, Esq., esteemed Tiegerman Board Member and Legal Counsel, received The Tiegerman Family Lifetime Achievement Award.
Peter and Lisa Fragliossi, high school parents, advocates, and supporters, received The Tiegerman Family Legacy Award.
Nick and Denise Tembelis, longtime friends and supporters of Tiegerman, with Denise also serving as a distinguished Board Member, received The Tiegerman Family Legacy Award.
Rosemarie King, Coordinator of Admissions for Tiegerman Schools, received The Toya Davis Distinguished Service Award in recognition of her longstanding dedication and compassion for students and families.
Proceeds from the evening support Tiegerman’s full continuum of programs, including its state-approved non-public special education schools serving students from PreK–12+, as well as Tiegerman Community Services. Through TCS, children, teens, and adults receive day habilitation, supported employment, transition services, and residential supports that promote independence, community involvement, and meaningful adult lives.
The Evening of Honor was both a celebration and an investment in the future, helping ensure that every child, teen, and adult Tiegerman serves has the opportunity to communicate, grow, and thrive.
