Your Child's Preschool Journey Begins Here: A Welcome from Our Principal

Dear Prospective Preschool Families,

My name is Mrs. Karen Katzman and I am the proud principal at Tiegerman Pre-School.  At Tiegerman we believe in a nurturing environment that gives support and caring attention to each student.  We absolutely recognize that each student has unique strengths, challenges and learning styles.  Each student should feel valued and excited about coming to Tiegerman.  We love seeing smiles on our students’ faces.  We love hearing their first words and seeing meaningful interactions.  For forty years, Tiegerman has offered a welcoming and safe environment with dedicated staff who work with our students to develop skills that will carry them through kindergarten and beyond.

Students at Tiegerman Preschool are provided with an exemplary education that not only focuses on New York State learning standards but also on Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.  How do we do that?  We facilitate an environment that supports language, learning, joy and responsibility.  I invite you to visit Tiegerman Preschool and experience first hand what we do and who we are.  We look forward to the possibility of welcoming you and your child to the Tiegerman family.

All the best,

Mrs. Karen Katzman,

Principal of Tiegerman Preschool
