Description
The Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) position involves providing staff training and implementing behavior support plans for assigned students in the school setting as directed by a BCBA and/or School Psychologist. This includes structured observations, data collection, graphing, and working collaboratively with the school team. RBT is a non-exempt position. RBT must have Registered Behavior Technician Certification.
Responsibilities:
• Implement and follow the treatment plan goals and behavioral interventions for individual students under the direction of the BCBA and/or School Psychologist
• Assist in the preparation of materials for all students with behavior intervention plan
• Establish and maintain a positive relationships with students and faculty
• Accurately collects and record data based on observable student behavior
• Participate as a member of the Behavior Response Team
• Maintain up-to-date graphs, summarize and calculate data
• Follow the prescribed behavioral protocols/programs
• Attend and participate in staff meetings
